General information
Indomethacin is in a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. The medicine is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions.
Directions
It may be taken with or without meal. Take this medication with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release capsule. Use the dose exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Precautions
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to indomethacin, or if you have a history of allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Don't drink alcohol and smoking. Adult people must be more sensitive to this effects. Tell your doctor if you have Parkinson's disease, kidney or liver disease, high blood pressure or if you are pregnancy.
Contraindications
Don't use if you have an allergic reaction or sensible to hypertension.
Possible side effect
Dizziness, insomnia, urinary retention, bruising, severe tingling, allergy. Tell your doctor about any unusual side effects.
Drug interaction

Missed dose
Skip the missed dose if it is time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Overdose
Overdose can cause chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeat and fainting. Inform your doctor immediately.
Storage
Store your medicines at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
